Westernport Water Choose to Challenge

International Women’s Day (IWD) on the 8th of March presents an opportunity to raise awareness around gender equality and equal participation in the workplace and in society.

Be they social, political, economic or cultural, it’s a time to celebrate the achievements of women.

At Westernport Water we Choose to Challenge gender bias and encourage a gender diverse workforce by breaking down the stereotypes of non-traditional careers and actively encouraging engagement and participation of women at all levels.

This year we will strike the #ChoosetoChallenge pose to challenge inequity, call out bias, question stereotypes, and help forge a more inclusive world.

Quotes attributed to Acting Managing Director of Westernport Water, Paul Donohue

“It’s our gender diverse workforce, inclusive workplace and commitment to our people that makes Westernport Water a great place to work.”

“At Westernport Water we are proud of the achievements of women. We recognise the positive impact of women on the Victorian water sector and support further participation and recognition, particularly in leadership roles.”
