Environment

At Westernport Water we are conscious that our operations can have an impact on the environment, so we’re committed to protecting and enhancing the local environment in which we operate. We do this by investing in best practice technology and continually monitoring our water and wastewater treatment plants and their surrounding environment. We also have an Environmental Management System to manage environmental risks, and are actively working with local environment groups to maintain and improve the lands we manage.

Our commitment to the environment is also demonstrated through our 2021 Environment Policy
