Third round of Small Business Grants announced
Westernport Water has announced that a third round of applications will be accepted for the local Small Business Grants, beginning from 1 February 2012 and ending 31 April 2012.
The second round is almost complete, with applications closing on 30 January. Grants of up to $5000 are available to local businesses for purchases of eligible water efficient products and services, as well as engaging in water conservation initiatives. Applicants must have an ABN and be able to provide 50% of the project funding.
Westernport Water would like to congratulate Cowes Children Centre and Woolamai Beach Hideaway, both of whom successfully applied for the Small Business Grants in the first round.
Murray Jackson Managing Director for Westernport Water said, “It was great to see businesses take an active role in water conservation. The addition of a third round of applications is a perfect opportunity for owners to increase their business’ sustainability.”
