Applications are now open for Westernport Water’s Community Support Program and Recycled Water Grant Program.
The annual Community Support Program aims to strengthen communities by providing $25,000 worth of funding or support for events, activities or projects focused around the key themes of healthy people, healthy communities and healthy planet.
Applications from community groups, not-for-profit organisations, committees of management and sports clubs, are available under five sponsorship categories valued at up to $3,000.
The Recycled Water Grant Program is designed to help businesses and not for profit organisations connect to or distribute recycled water via the existing network on Phillip Island.
Applications for projects that are able to deliver water savings, support economic growth and help customers and the community prepare for climate variability will be viewed favourably. Recycled Water Grants can be claimed for 75% of the cost of connection, up to a maximum project cost of $10,000.
Applications for both programs are now open and will close on 20 January 2021. Further information, FAQs and terms and conditions can be found on the Westernport Water website.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in early February 2021.
