Will my water supply be affected?
There will be minor interruptions to water supply. Affected residents will be provided forward notice prior to any shutdown works and Westernport Water will aim to accommodate all concerns.
Please contact Westernport Water Project Manager, Andre Garcey via agarcey@westernportwater.com.au should you have any concerns.
Will these works impact traffic flow?
Traffic impacts will be minimal except for localised speed reduction and occasional short delays while important sections of the network are completed.
Is it safe to use nature strips and/or footpaths during the works?
Public safety is a high priority. We kindly ask path users to observe signage and remain alert to changing conditions around the worksite.
Diversions may be in place; we ask pedestrians to safely detour around worksites if direct access is impacted.
Fences and barricades will be installed during the works to prevent direct access to the worksite as required.
My water appears milky/cloudy?
Water may appear milky/cloudy following planed minor disruptions to water supply.
This is caused by air in the water. The water is safe to consume and will resolve once the aerated water has been flushed from the system.
However, aerated water can take up to 48 hours to clear.
