Engineering & Construction Support Officer

Six month temporary contract, Monday to Wednesday

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Support Officer on a fixed term basis (currently 6 months with potential to extend to 12 months), due to a maternity leave arrangement.

The Engineering & Construction Support Officer will provide administration support to the Manager Engineering & Construction in the delivery of the capital program, provision of project reporting, contract administration and development services.

To be successful in this position you will need to address the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated clerical/administrative knowledge and experience, including ability to apply associated principles and procedures
  • Sound communication skills both written and verbal along with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment as well as the ability to work effectively with general supervision when required
  • Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to demonstrate an understanding and application of confidentiality in relation to work that is undertaken.

A willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check (Police Check) is essential for this role. View the full position description.

You must provide at least two professsional referees that we can contact.

4. Additional checks
You may be asked to complete a medical assessment, a national police record check, provide identification documents and evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.

5. Offer and acceptance
If successful, you will be verbally offered the position. We will then send you a formal employment agreement.
