Calling all the young women or men thinking about a career after VCE!

A water industry traineeship is a great way to start a career in the water industry!

 If you’re determined to enter a career that will offer you a chance to make a positive contribution to your community, and the ability to get outdoors and keep fit, you should consider this traineeship.

 This traineeship is in Water Operations, covering areas such as Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, Field Maintenance and Geospatial Information Systems (GIS).

 It runs for a 2 year period and includes both on the job training and as formal education leading to a Certificate II in Water Operations.

 All expenses associated with the further education will be paid by Westernport Water in addition to a trainee salary.

 A mentor will be assigned to the trainee to support his/her introduction to the work and the ongoing learning process over the 2 years.
