Young artists go with the flow for National Water Week

Local students can go with the flow for National Water Week and win great prizes in a poster art competition.

Primary school students are invited to enter poster concepts for the week – which runs from October 19-25 – on the theme of ‘Water for Life’.
Westernport Water is collecting entries; the winner going on for state and then national selection.
The age categories are prep, Years 1 /2; Years 3/4 and Years 5/6. Last year, more than 6000 entries were submitted from Victorian primary schools.
Westernport Water’s acting managing director Keith Gregory said: “There are great prizes to be won by both the student and school. Winners will be chosen by how well the poster conveys the theme, with or without text, and how well it can be reproduced to promote National Water Week.”
