INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SYSTEMS

SUPPORT OFFICER

LONG TERM CONTRACT (UP TO 2 YEARS)

 

Westernport Water is seeking to employ a suitably experienced person to become part of the Corporation’s Information Technology Team. The Position of Systems Support Officer will assist with provision of front line support in the areas of information technology and communications, as well as assist with the development and implementation of key information technology projects and other major strategic business initiatives.

 

This position is offered at the Band 4 level of salary with a range of $40,859 up to $53,469 pa gross depending on qualifications and experience.

 

To be successful in this position you must be able to demonstrate:

 

  • Experience providing front line support of Information Technology and Communications infrastructure.
  • Broad knowledge of Information Technology products and systems including Microsoft Office products and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Effective communications skills
  • Effective project management skills
  • Experience in providing information technology related training
  •  Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to manage time effectively and achieve objectives within set timeframes and with available resources.

FIELD MAINTENANCE – TEAM MEMBER

 

Westernport Water is seeking to employ a suitable person to become part of the Corporation’s, Assets Planning and Operations Team.

 

The position of Field Maintenance – Team Member is to be part of a team providing ongoing reactive and preventative services for the Corporation.

 

The position is offered at either an ENTRY LEVEL Broad Band 1 or Broad Band 2, subject to how well you meet the selection criteria, with an annual gross salary range of $33,756.84 to $40,859.00.

 

To be successful in this position you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to maintain appropriate fitness levels sufficient to meet the physical requirements of the role;
  • Willingness to be part of a rostered and ad hoc after hours arrangement;
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to be part of a team;
  • An understanding of Westernport Water’s water, sewer and other systems is desirable but not essential
